Fine Dining Etiquette to Remember

Like many other social banquets, there are customary codes that need to be observed, one of these is the fine dining etiquette. This may vary from restaurant to restaurant but most of its core stays the same. Reservation

Just like many online shops like lazada and zalora, making a reservation can be done with just a click of a button so make sure to make one before going to a fancy restaurant. Almost all of them have a long reservation list that goes on for 2 to 3 years, you can still do walk-ins but chances are probably slim. Once you made a reservation make sure to be there on time. Being punctual only reflects on how much you value time.

Always let your guest order first and try to order the same number of courses. Looking down into the menu card while talking to the waiter is considered to be extremely rude. If the dishes have fancy names that you can’t decipher, there is no harm in asking the waiter and also ask the best wine that goes with it. Lastly, let them know about any allergies that you may have beforehand.

It is essential to sit upright and keep our elbows off the table. When drinking from a glass, keep your eyes directed into the glass, not at everyone else in the restaurant.
